20 October 2025 — Tulip Publishing today announces it has completed the acquisition of The Australian Evangelical—a long-standing Australian periodical formerly known as Evangelical Action—from Evangelical Ministries Trust. Established in 1886 as Glad Tidings, Evangelical Action became a trusted periodical for Australia’s conservative evangelicals; following the Bible Union’s disestablishment in the 1990s, stewardship continued under Evangelical Ministries Trust.
The acquisition brings the journal’s rich heritage into Tulip Publishing’s growing ecosystem of resources that serve churches, pastors, students, and thoughtful readers across Australia and beyond.

Reformata will continue the magazine’s core commitment to biblically faithful, Reformed, and pastorally helpful reflection—now with an expanded digital footprint, streamlined submissions process, and a clearer focus on accessible, popular-academic writing for the Australian context.
